Mobile Tire Technician - Full TimeDallas, TX

Description

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team of tire experts. This Mobile Tire Technician position requires lots of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of customer service. This is a full-time position with a starting wage of $15 per hour and a minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime is also available. Uniforms, equipment and tools will be provided. You will also be eligible for other company benefits and career advancement opportunities based on performance. More details about the job are listed below:

Responsibilities

  • Daily travel in the greater Dallas area
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, communicate directly with the customer and meet deadlines
  • Safely operate a variety of equipment including floor jacks, tire changing machines, wheel balancers, hand and power tools
  • Collect data, take notes and pictures on a job site and report back to the office
  • Perform daily vehicle inspection of service vehicle and manage on-board inventory
  • Help maintain cleanliness of service vehicles, equipment, tools and facilities
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with extensive daily travel
  • Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of US driving experience
  • Strength and endurance to repeatedly lift and carry upwards of 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate mobile applications on a company supplied handheld device
  • Excellent customer service and ability to problem solve and operate independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to follow instructions
  • Knowledge of method and techniques in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
  • Trade school training, ASE certification/s or ability to safely mount & balance tires a plus but we will train the right candidate
  • Priority given to veterans who were Junior Enlisted or Junior Non-Commissioned Officers
  • Must have a clean criminal and driving record with less than 3 moving violations in the last three years. No DUIs or reckless driving citations

Description

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team of tire experts. This Customer Service Specialist position require knowledge of tire sales and servicing along with basic knowledge of routing and dispatching vehicles. This is a full-time position with a starting wage of $15 per hour and a minimum of 40 hours per week. Overtime is also available. Responsibilities

  • Take inbound phone calls daily within an office environment
  • Handle warranty questions, diagnose customer issues and follow up with vendors when needed
  • Responsible for communicating policies, granting accommodations and using good judgment to make that determination
  • Responsible for all digital correspondence and telephone follow up for various customers
  • Process orders for with vendors and partners
  • Communicate with team members regarding vehicle fitment or operations concerns

Requirements

  • Experience working in a call center environment or retail environment. Automotive service advisor experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve and operate independently in a fast-paced invironment
