Located only eight hours driving distance from Kansas City, Dallas is a large, beautiful, rapidly growing metropolitan area below the frost line. With almost 400 square miles of city, Dallas residents have to do a lot of driving in order to get anywhere in the city.
With a strong suburban population and a large downtown based job market, Dallas and the surrounding areas have the longest commute times in Texas. Long commute times lead to more time on the road and even with the great infrastructure that Dallas has, it still causes friction between the road and the tires, which will wear down tire tread quicker.
Dallas is located in northern Texas and is perfectly located below the frost line which makes temperatures warmer in both the summer and the winter. This heat causes the tire pressure to increase, which can cause tires to over inflate and pop, resulting in a blowout. During the summer, as the temperatures soar this is more likely. If the tire does not pop, there is still the danger of over inflation. This can cause a tire to deteriorate quickly and lose its structural integrity.
